Production methods of FRP, wet contact and dry compression molding

The production methods of FRP are basically divided into two major categories, namely, wet contact and dry compression molding. According to the technical characteristics, there are hand paste forming, laminating, RTM, extrusion, molding, winding and so on. Hand paste forming also includes hand paste, bag pressure, spray, wet paste low pressure and non mode hand paste.

At present, there are four kinds of molding methods used most in the world.

With the development of FRP industry, the new technology will appear continuously.

FRP name glass fiber reinforced plastic. It is a composite material with glass fiber and its products (glass cloth, tapes, felt, yarn, etc.) as reinforced material and synthetic resin as a matrix material.
